Passion for Busses

VISEON Bus GmbH was founded in 2008 and in April 2009 took over the former Neoplan factory in Pilsting. Shareholders are Joachim Reinmuth, Chairman of the Management Board, Ernö Bartha, Managing Director, Technology and Purchasing and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG as a minority shareholder.

Joachim Reinmuth, born in 1956, has been the managing shareholder of VISEON Bus GmbH since 1 July, 2008. As the Chairman of the Management Board he is responsible for production, sales and marketing, finance and HR.

Born in Offenau, he studied vehicle technology at the Technical University in Berlin and his first job was with the fire vehicle manufacturer Bachert in1984. This was followed by six years as the operations manager and assistant to the management board with Drögmöller in Heilbronn, the bus manufacturer with a long tradition, and five years at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge as production manager for buses in Salzgitter (1994-1998).
From 1999 to July 2002 Reinmuth was managing shareholder at Göppel in Augsburg, a medium-sized manufacturer of superstructures for MAN medium-sized and special buses.

On 1 July, 2002, Reinmuth joined the management board at NEOPLAN Bus GmbH, formerly Gottlob Auwärter GmbH & Co. KG and renamed NEOPLAN Bus GmbH after takeover by MAN. He was managing director for technology, logistics and production and, since January 2004, worked as spokesperson for the management board and brand spokesman for the NEOPLAN brand. Reinmuth retained this position until the founding of VISEON Bus in July 2008.

In his spare time the father of four children indulges his interest in history and art and is also a passionate jogger.

 


Ernö Bartha

Graduate Engineer Ernö Bartha was born in 1955 and, since 1 April 2009, has held the position of managing shareholder at VISEON Bus GmbH. His area of responsibility includes technology, purchasing and quality.

Bartha was born in Hungary and studied vehicle technology at the Technical University in Dresden where he was conferred with a graduate degree in engineering. Between 1979 and 1991 he worked as a designer, and later design manager, of coaches at Ikarus Chassis and Vehicle Works in Hungary. In 1991 Bartha moved to NEOPLAN Gottlob Auwärter GmbH & Co. KG in Stuttgart-Möhringen, where he took on the role as head of the entire technology department in 1994. In 1997 he moved to MAN and became the head of bus technology. After the takeover of NEOPLAN by MAN in 2001, Ernö Bartha became chairman of the management board of NEOPLAN Bus GmbH in Stuttgart and a member of the management board of the NEOMAN Bus Group. Before moving to VISEON in April 2009 Bartha was responsible for bus technology at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG with the MAN and NEOPLAN brands.

Ernö Bartha is married and has two sons. His hobbies include classical music, his French sheepdog and historical vehicles.
