VISEON delivers 11 NEOPLAN airport apron buses to EgyptAir

Pilsting. With the delivery of altogether 11 new airport buses of the type NEOPLAN Apron to the national Egyptian airline, EgyptAir, VISEON once again underlines its globally strong position as manufacturer of apron buses with quality "Made in Germany". With currently more than 100 vehicles in use at Egyptian airports, VISEON is the market leader in the land of the Nile by a large margin.

"The high quality of production at the Pilsting plant and the excellent support provided by the VISEON sales and service staff together with our local Agent in Egypt Misr Advanced Systems (MAS) have played an important role in our purchase decision just as much as the excellent design and state-of-the-art technology of the NEOPLAN buses", explained EgyptAir Groundhandling Manager, Alaa Ahmed Yehia Abdelrahman El Shahawi, during vehicle acceptance by the customer in Pilsting. EgyptAir already has more than 30 NEOPLAN airport buses in use and has further extended its fleet with the 11 new vehicles.

EgyptAir is the national airline of Egypt with its headquarters in Cairo. At present, the EgyptAir fleet is comprised of 52 aircraft which fly to a total of 69 destinations in 44 countries. Annually, EgyptAir carries around 7.8 million passengers. Apart from flight operations, the airline is responsible for the ground handling operations at several Egyptian airports both for its own flights as well as for other airlines.
